The Konnerups have served as missionaries for nearly forty-seven years in Nairobi, Kenya, through BBFI. They helped plant churches then train nationals to take over. Now years later God has blessed their ministry and those churches they planted are planting many others. Presently they hope to inspire the Kenyan believers to send missionaries to other countries, continuing the spread of the gospel. They also participate in a number of additional ministries, such as establishing food centers.
