Why Celebrate Recovery?

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program to help people overcome their hurts, habits and hang-ups. Based on the actual words of Jesus, our recovery program is unique and effective in helping people change.

Celebrate Recovery FAQ

We've hurt ourselves and hurt others too. Some of us are still carrying around hurts from years ago, and time often makes things worse. Most people are familiar with the classic 12-Step program of AA and other groups. This program is unlike any other recovery program.

Step Study

Celebrate Recovery offers step studies that work step-by-step to help you heal and find freedom from your hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Step studies are small groups that take place once a week, and can take anywhere from 6 months to a year from start to finish. This program is for those who are ready to delve deeper into their past and past choices.

How can I sign up?

We offer new step studies for men and for women based on interest and leader availability. You can sign up in person at our book table at Celebrate Recovery on a Tuesday night or you can contact Kristen at kristen@fblex.org to get your name on the list.

Flashpoint

Flashpoint is a program designed for junior high and high school students who are struggling with life's hurts, habits and hang-ups. It includes a developmentally appropriate curriculum which mirrors the content presented in the adult Celebrate Recovery program.

Flashpoint meets on most Tuesday evenings while school is in session from 6:30-8:30PM in Modular 5. For more information, contact Whitney Hutto at (803) 240-1813.

Celebration Place

This year-round Celebrate Recovery companion program is for children ages infant to 5th grade whose caregivers attend Celebrate Recovery. The curriculum coincides with Celebrate Recovery's teaching of the Eight Principles from the Beatitudes using age appropriate lessons, craft projects, and object lessons. This program helps kids and their parents engage in positive, faith-filled conversations about life.

Celebration Place meets every Tuesday from 6:30-8:30PM upstairs in the Worship Center. For more information, contact Luanne Vinson at luannevinson@gmail.com.
